Remember 6th October? If not, then scratch your heads and think of the 'Big Billion Day', got it right? High Five Flipkart! News blogs were flooded with criticism they had in the hearts of audience they had against the 'out of stock' matters.

Well this is the first hour slot, I am writing my views in,
and maybe wrong too (well, you readers are there to 
correct me out XD ).


Who hates shopping? Well for something at lesser price? I don't either! But where shall I shop or find a product on a site hogged up with the HTTP Error! Overload! Heard it right fellas.




Everone cursed and blamed Flipkart for this, remember? Shopping giants like these should take care of their server traffic issues and make them clear ASAP!

Well, the day is still on the way, *fingers crossed*. Maybe will get to know the offers on the official site instead of the advertisements and promises made so far.

Moto G(2013) V. Moto G(2014) : Worth an update?

Hello readers. How have you all been doing?

Its the burst of mid-year with many iPhone 6-y blabbering rumors out there, and there peeks in the new, fresh Moto G with size increment and a micro-sd slot plus some new features, would it be wise for 'Throw old and get newer' jingles?
Let's be clever.

What's newer?

1. Bigger Camera Pixels.
Bigger here doesn't need to be confused with the ultra-pixels by HTC stuffs. The original G had a 5mp shooter behind it, and this newer toddler comes with an 8mp sensor. All I know is, mega-pixels don't do the job, the sensor, quality of the sensor, the light/aperture it takes in should be better. Pixel counts have nothing to with the final image quality. The image should be clear, but not exceeding the pixel interlacing and quality losses. Still, the bigger, the better!



2. Stereo Front Speaker grills, Hello Moto (big) E!
Looks like a bring over stuff from the Moto E. The front looks gorgeous. Something fresh!




3. EXPANDABLE! I missed my loyal SD card!
With the release of The Expendables 3 (lol), it seems, everyone is getting to the mainstream-but-useful expandable memories. The most awaited upgrade here! It was being missed by the Moto fans. But there's something good to say too. You get expandable memory with an inbuilt 16gb device for a price which falls around the non-microSD models of the 16gb Moto G(2013).
This would be a cherry on the cake, I hope!

4. Screen size and Less Bezel-ish design.
The reason why I love Nexus devices is because of it's thin bezel(say Nexus 5). Moto G(2) comes with this stuff too. Less bezels, more style, lesser overall size.

5. Updates, I love'em.
Google releases updates, and it strikes the bang-on moment on the moto/Nexus devices at the same time.

Final Verdict: -
Spending 12k for a phone like this, won't be bad either if one doesn't love the 'discontinuation' by Xiaomi.

Review: PNY Trend Series Headphone(In-Ear)

I am back again with something being tuned in my pockets. Yay, they are my new headphones.

Recently I ordered this headphone from Snapdeal. Site promised to deliver it withing 3-4 days, but I got it after full week. Maybe, there was some issue, the packaging was good though. I couldnt afford waiting for them to deliver it to my home after waiting for so much of time, I directly got it from there courier office(Bludart).

Talking about the looks, yay! they are awesomely designed, but turns to be a delicate piece of work though. The chrome bezel adds to its elegant finish.

After using it with
couple of devices including my Lenovo G570 and MMX Canvas 2 with MusicXMatch and activated Equalizers, I found this stuff to be an awesome device.

Nicely written DJ on the jack cover.

The PNY Trend series In-ear headphone comes with a gold plated 3.5mm jack, which means greater quality output.

It comes pre-bundled with 2 pairs of ear gel, both large and small(and Mid-sized pre-fitted in the packaging) to fit everyones ear sizes.

One thing I was dissapointed with was, that it doesn't come with a pouch for storing it.

Yeah! It does tangle being in the pocket. :(

Living with my Canvas 2

I have been using Micromax Canvas 2 since February'13 and it turned out to be a solid piece of work by the company. After selling my tiny Galaxy Y for  some mere bucks, I was awestruck by the change in size between both these cells my palm faced. It was pretty bigger in the starting, and now if I hold an iPhone, it looks a new born baby in front of my Canvas 2.

Being a rough user and a mod-dy of Android, I love the way how customize-able it is, albeit its ROM's available by the DEV teams at XDA forums.

It came with ICS 4.0.4 pre-loaded in it, which I *officially* upgraded it to 4.1.1 JB, which is flawless and the Settings part is colorful these days. Jokes apart, now I have some second plans of upgrading it to some ROM and root it accordingly (yeah yeah! its still un-rooted)

Whatever it be, people still show off their highly paid Note-2's but I am completely satisfied with what I have in my pockets. It proved itself as a headturner, just because it doesn't have any brand logo on its front side.

Talking about the camera, its what you make of it!
I am a hobby photographer and I have used its camera
 to the fullest. Focusing is even good in it.
Here is an example of it.

I have captured my trusty old Guitar in it and it looks fantastic.

Mostly every app work on it, and as it has got a Dual core 1Ghz Cortex A9 processor with PowerVR SGX531 GPU, which is way better than the traditional Adreno 200, which most phones in this price range use.

All in all, I am having a great experience with it :)

Galaxy Note 3, priced at 49000!

Being Apple's device launched, its mandatory for its competitors to launch something priced almost at a same range. Galaxy Note 3, a new niche device being launched in the Galaxy Note line by Samsung. Also, it released a bundle of much anticipated devices such as Galaxy Note 10.1 slate and the Galaxy Gear.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3, being the successor of Note 2 holds up a 5.7" Super AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and runs on the latest yet most powerful chipset till date, the Snapdragon 800 and sports a 13MP camera with 4K video recording capability.

The S-Pen is what actually makes the Note lineup so special, and Samsung has surely provided the Note 3 with even more S-Pen compatible apps, handwriting-recognition features and drawing tools.
Samsung is well known for its plastic smartphone designs. The Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 all featured polycarbonate plastic designs that differed greatly from Apple’s two recent iPhone designs. The most recent, the iPhone 5, combined glass and aluminum to create a beautiful industrial design that offered a much more premium build than the Galaxy designs.

Nexus II 7 a.k.a Refresh surfaces

US based retailer BestBuy announced its pre-order for the 16gigs and 32gigs variants.

Google launched the second variant of Asus Nexus 7, a hit of its time,  the Nexus refresh, some even are calling it Nexus II 7" (not sure which one is correct).  So far, the oral specs go like 

this: Snapdragon S4 Quad-core processor running at a clock speed of 1.5GHz and a 2GB of RAM on the top of it. 

Display size hasn't been changed, i.e 7" with a poppy 'n' creamy resolution of 1920*1200 pixels leaving a pixel density of  ~320 ppi. (the resolution on the benchmarks is 1824*1200 because of the onscreen buttons cover the remaining area) 

The tab is going to run on the upgraded 4.3 JellyBean version of Android, which promises to have exclusive improvements, including Bluetooth 4 LE allowing the battery to drain slower, as it lefts almost zero footprints of Bluetooth being turned on. Also, the overall RAM usage will be less(30 percent lesser than before), they say.

The AnTuTu benchmark I am showing is the same which Android Police revealed with their hands-on with this charm. [I haven't tested this product yet]. Nexus II 7 scores 18,000, which according to me will be great for a general tablet user.

Nokia Lumia 625 goes official, will include LTE this September

Hello everyone, back on my blog after many days.
So, talking about Lumia, days back Nokia launched the Lumia 1020. okay! won't be talking about it here.

Lumia 625, expected to be released in the month of September' 13 is said to be coming out with LTE (4G) with Cat3 and speeds upto 50 Mbps UL, 100 Mbps DL (correct me if I am wrong). It will sport a 4.7" IPD LCD capacitive display on the front panel with a resolution of 480*800p (~199ppi) and a Corning Gorilla Glass II protection.

For the storage thing, it has been given an 8 GB inbuilt storing capacity and expandable (microSD) external capacity upto 64 GB. On the back side, a 5MP Autofocus camera with LED flash on the top of it, and video recording capabilities such as 1080p HD recording at 30 fps. The secondary camera will be likely to be VGA.

Talking about the platform i.e the OS, Lumia 625 will be running on the Windows Phone 8, sporting a Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon chipset with a Krait 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor and Adreno 305 graphic unit with 512 MB RAM over it, hopefully will run everything smoothly. Battery will be likely to be Li-ion 2000 mAh (BP-4GWA) and yeah, if you are going to buy this, you will need to short out your SIM into Micro-SIM.
